Having made appearances throughout the United States and Europe, Tenor, William Edward Clark, has become an audience favorite in opera, oratorio and sacred music. He has appeared with the Baltimore Opera Company, Opera Roanoke, Hudson Opera, Columbia Lyric Opera, New York’s Mozart Opera Project, and the Genisius Opera Festival of Illinois. His roles include: Tamino - Die Zauberflote, Camille de Rosillion - The Merry Widow, Ferrando - Cosi Fan Tutte, and Don Ottavio - Don Giovanni. Mr. Clark premiered the title role of Blake by celebrated American composer, Leslie Adams.

He has received acclaim for his performances of Negro Spirituals and recently was a guest soloist singing Christmas spirituals in An Appalachian Christmas with Opera Roanoke with conductor, Steven White. His success with oratorio and sacred music include solo appearances at the Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury England as well as the Washington Bach Consort, Handel Choir of Baltimore under the baton of T. Herbert Dimmock, the Harford Choral Society and New Jersey’s Essex Chorale. He has sung Messiah, the Evangelist in Bach’s St. John Passion, B Minor Mass and many of Bach’s Cantatas.
